Critical Language and Literary Studies (CLLS) is a double-blind peer review journal, dedicated to publishing original research articles that adopt inter-/multi- disciplinary perspectives in exploring world and comparative literatures, linguistics, and teaching foreign languages. Submissions that engage and expand new horizons in literary theory and practice, especially disability studies, posthumanism, Digital Humanities, animal studies, marginal modernism, Blue ecocriticism, cybersemiotics, or technology in teaching-related issues (CALL, MALL, RALL, etc) are particulary encouraged and prioritized.

To offer a focused analytical lens, the journal publishes 1 themed issue, and 3 general issues per year.
