Critical Language and Literary Studies, CLLS, is a double-blind, peer-reviewed scholarly journal of faculty of letters and humanities at Shahid Beheshti University. CLLS publishes biannually, and provides a forum for scholarly discussions of topics in all areas of language and literary studies. The main aim of CLLS is to publish research articles of highest quality with an international academic appeal, attracting researchers and practitioners and dealing with theoretical and pedagogical research studies in key areas of literature, in general, and literary criticism along with teaching second and foreign language methods in particular. To this effect, CLLS encourages submission of previously unpublished manuscripts on topics in foreign literature (English, German, French, Chinese, Japanese), language teaching and learning, literary theory and criticism, foreign language testing and evaluation, discourse analysis translation studies, applied Linguistics, computer-assisted and technology- enhanced language learning and the like. Contributors are invited to electronically submit their original articles, no more than 6000 words in length to: http//clls.sbu.ac.ir. CLLS accepts manuscripts written in Persian.
