Critical Languages and Literary Studies (CLLS) is an open access, double-blind peer review quarterly committed to publish interdisciplinary research essays in the Literary studies, Literary theory and practice, Comparative studies, Linguistics, and Teaching Foreign Languages. The journal operates under Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and is published by Shahid Beheshti University Press.
The journal is founded on granting interdisciplinarity to be its established investigative research method to explore world literatures, languages, and teaching frameworks. CLLS encourages the following research fronts as its main publishing horizon: Literary studies: posthumanism, disability studies, digital humanities and narration, medical humanities, blue ecocriticism, marginal modernism, etc. Linguistics; and the intersection of technology and Teaching Foreign Language.
