In this society most men, especially the Powers, have sexual and degrading look at women and don’t respect them at all. The women in this tragedy are the second sex and under the subjection of the men. They are quite traditional, like Emilia and submit their self fully to others opinions, or like Klaudia try to pass the tradition or like Orsina have intellectual ideas, but also reflect the standards of the mail-dominated society in their thoughts and behaviors. This drama has a feminist message for women: they should recognize their intrinsic value and don’t allow to become tools of debauchery of men and should think about events, of course, they should know that this is contrary to the wishes of men in the mail-dominated society and will certainly face resistance. They should seek their rights however it would look bad in the eyes of men. نمایشنامه­ امیلیا گالوتی اثر لسینگ، تصویر جامعه­ا­ی را به­نمایش می­گذارد، که در آن زنان تحت انقیاد مردان هستند و از ارزش اجتماعی لازم برخوردار نیستند. در این جامعه، اغلب مردان، به­ویژه صاحبان قدرت، فقط نگاهی جنسیتی و تحقیرآمیز به­زنان دارند. زنان این تراژدی، جنس دوم و زیردست مردان تلقی می­گردند. آنان یا مانند امیلیا کاملا سنتی­اند و بی­چون و چرا تسلیم نظرات دیگران می­شوند، یا مانند کلودیا در تلاش برای گذر از سنت­اند و یا مانند اورسینا عقاید روشنفکری دارند، ولی هم­چنان می­توان انعکاس معیارهای جامعه­ مردسالار را در افکار و رفتارشان مشاهده کرد.این درام، پیامهایی فمینیستی برای زنان دارد: ارزش ذاتی خود را بشناسند و اجازه ندهند که به­ابزار لهو و لعب مردان تبدیل شوند؛ در مورد امور به­تفکر بپردازند و البته بدانند که این کار، خلاف خواسته­ مردان در جوامع مردسالار است و به­طور قطع با مقاومت مواجه خواهد شد؛ در پی احقاق حقوق خویش باشند، اگرچه این امر در نظر مردان، ناپسند جلوه کند. https://clls.sbu.ac.ir/article_99994_869b837390b3094b66374cbf93558562.pdf
