One of the subdivisions of literary criticism is psychological criticism which was founded by Sigmund Schlomo Freud, the father of modern psychology. Psychological criticism attempts to declare excitants, spiritual excitements and effectual factors in creating a literary work based on the work itself and the biography of the poet or author. Charles Baudelaire the 19th century well-known poet is an introverted, puzzle headed, depressed and heartbroken person who has always been seeking a utopia to soothe in, intending to look for the truth of entity and achieve that ideal world. In this research, Charles Baudelaire’s poems are investigated to discover the reason of depression puzzlement and disappointment which is observed in his poems according to Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. نقد ادبی در دوران معاصر از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار است. یکی از شاخه‎های نقد ادبی، نقد روانشناختی است که توسط پدر روان‌شناسی مدرن، زیگموند فروید بنا نهاده شد. نقد روانشناختی می‎کوشد با تکیه بر اصول و مبانی روانشناسی، محرّک‎ها و هیجانات روحی و عوامل مؤثّر بر آفرینش یک اثر ادبی را با استفاده از خود آثار و از سویی به کمک بیوگرافی شاعر یا نویسنده بازشناسد.شارل بودلر، شاعر فرانسوی پرآوازه‎ی قرن نوزدهم میلادی، انسانی درونگرا، پریشان، افسرده و دلزده از کره خاکی است که با هدف پی بردن به حقیقت هستی و رسیدن به دنیای ایده آل، همواره در جست و جوی آرمان شهری است که در آن بیاساید. در این پژوهش، اشعار شارل بودلر بر اساس دیدگاه‎های روان‎کاوی فروید بررسی شده است تا بتوانیم علت پریشانی، افسردگی و یاسی که در شعر بودلر جاری است را بیابیم. https://clls.sbu.ac.ir/article_99964_40c52f3f946213781133d3c29ee844d7.pdf
